Get sizzling on your grill with this mouthwatering recipe for Roasted Red Pepper Barbecue Sauce. You can use this quick and easy recipe with chicken, ribs, and burgers too.
If you’re a regular reader of this blog, you probably know that I’m a brand ambassador for Peppadew®. This month they asked me to create a BBQ recipe which I was more than happy to do.
The first thing that came to mind was using their roasted red peppers. They are great for making sauces with because they blitz down so smooth and make a silky, flavorful base for sauces. I love making homemade sauces, why not try my Easy Homemade Tomato Sauce too!
This recipe uses a lot of ingredients, but don’t let that fool you – it’s super simple to make. You just throw everything into a food processor.
Blitz it down until smooth.
That’s it – it’s ready to use!
I’ve tested this sauce on chicken, ribs and we’ve also used it as burger relish which was fabulous.
It’s a really nice change from traditional BBQ sauce. So if you’re looking for something a little different and super yummy – try this recipe.
