If you’re a regular reader of this blog, you probably know that I’m a brand ambassador for Peppadew®. This month they asked me to create a BBQ recipe which I was more than happy to do. The first thing that came to mind was using their roasted red peppers. They are great for making sauces with because they blitz down so smooth and make a silky, flavorful base for sauces.
I love Peppadew® red roasted peppers because they not only taste great, but they are always firm and don’t break down like so many other brands.
There is nothing worse than grabbing a pepper from a jar and have it fall apart in your hand.
This recipe uses a lot of ingredients, but don’t let that fool you – it’s super simple to make. You just throw everything into a food processor and blitz it down until smooth.
That’s it – it’s ready to use!
I’ve tested this sauce on chicken, ribs and we’ve also used it as burger relish which was fabulous.
It’s a really nice change from traditional BBQ sauce. So if you’re looking for something a little different and super yummy – try this recipe.
